Looks great but I don’t want to know the prize…

I don’t usually wear watch
but when I do it’s a DM one.

I liked the last year serie with Depeche Mode’s cover sleeves, it was great, btw for what price were they sold from that auction?

I think for all the watches in total it was about 220.000 GPB or was it CHF?

Here are all the prices :))
Big Bang Depeche Mode Charity Auction: An impressive CHF 317,500 achieved to support the Teenage Cancer Trust
The twelve unique timepieces bearing the album artwork of Depeche Mode’s legendary studio albums were all sold in an online auction which ended last night. All proceeds from the sale will be presented to the Teenage Cancer Trust in Dusseldorf during the penultimate concert of Depeche Mode’s “Sounds of The Universe Tour” on 26 February. Patrizzi & Co and Internet auction host services Liveauctioneers.com donated both their time and energy in providing a secure state of the art, online bidding system coupled with an unparalleled global auction service and expertise.
In support of the Teenage Cancer Trust, Depeche Mode and Hublot joined forces to produce the twelve exclusive boxed sets. Inside each presentation box was a treasure trove of exclusive Depeche Mode materials personally chosen by the band. Each watch presentation case contained:
A deluxe vinyl version of the album the watch related to
A USB Key containing a digital edition of the album and documentary about the making of the album
An original album artwork print and a framed gold CD.
In addition each box contained a photograph signed by all members of the group who contributed to the album including Vince Clarke and Alan Wilder.

Questiony type question

Hello everyone, Kelly here!

First off, a big thank you for following FYDM. (And a big thank you to my co-mod, who manages to keep this place running when I’m swamped!)

We’ve been talking about content for FYDM and we wanted some of your thoughts. Please give us your feedback, as much or as little as you want. As with most things, we will see if there is a clear majority or if people feel strongly one way or the other.

There are a lot of covers in the DM tracked tag and a lot of fanvideos set to DM songs on Youtube and Vimeo, not to mention fanart that uses DM lyrics or fanmixes with DM songs.

The question is, how would you feel if we started to reblog covers, fanvideos, fanart, and maybe even fanmixes?

Also, would you like more community interaction, such as asking members what their favorite song, album, etc in the form of a question of the week or question of the month?

Video: Dave Gahan Discusses Depeche Mode’s Upcoming Album

Depeche Mode are just about ready to record their 12th album, says frontman Dave Gahan. The record will be produced by Ben Hillier, but Gahan says Depeche Mode co-founder Martin Gore will step up with more production responsibilities than on previous LPs. “We’ve got about 20 songs demoed and we’re going to begin recording at the end of next month,” he recently told Rolling Stone. “It’s a very different process from what it used to be. You’ve got to put interesting people around you, you’ve got to work with people who are gonna inspire you to take the songs you’ve written into a completely different direction, because there’s nothing more boring than going to the studio and predictably knowing what is going to happen.”

Interview by Patrick Flanary, video by Eric Helton and Matthew Murphy
